San Javier hosts this Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May the III National Meeting of Banks of Time in which representatives of the Time Bank of Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Vitoria, Valencia and other areas of Spain and the Region of Murcia will participate.
The Encounter, organized by the Network of National Time Banks and held so far in Valencia and Madrid, has as its main objective "the sharing and exchange of experiences, actions and concerns to learn from each other," explained this Tomorrow the Councilor of Volunteers, Catalina Pérez who presented the event with the municipal coordinator of the Time Bank, Natalia Conesa

Natalia Conesa will open the meeting, after the opening scheduled at 10:00 a.m., with a presentation on the municipal support to the Time Banks, since the one of San Javier is the only Bank of Time of Spain with full municipal management, while In other places they are managed by associations or companies contracted by the Administration.
Afterwards there will be a series of interventions by the different representatives of Time Banks with a roundtable in which to exchange experiences, doubts and concerns that will give as a final result of the Meeting the preparation of a practical guide for the management of Time Banks, It is a novel phenomenon in many places.
The program of the Meeting, which will start in the hall of the City Hall with a day open to all interested public from 10:00, and in the afternoon in the building of Multiple Uses of the Department of Youth, will move on Sunday to Polideportivo in his last work session, while taking a boat trip on the Mar Menor from Santiago de la Ribera "so that visitors get a complete idea of ​​the municipality since it is also an opportunity to make ourselves known," he added.
