The III National Meeting of Banks of Time gathered 48 people from different points of Spain during the last weekend in San Javier where they had the opportunity to exchange experiences, gather information and learn from each other.
The Bank of Time of San Javier has become a reference in Spain, being a pioneer, since it was the second of the country, by the number of volunteers assigned, with more than 700, and being the only one in the country with full municipal management .
On the municipal management of the Bank of Time in San Javier and its advantages spoke the municipal coordinator, Natalia Conesa, in the first presentation of the Meeting, in which, in addition to a meeting with interventions of the different participating associations, Work from which came a practical guide of management of Time Banks.
The Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the Councilor for Volunteering and Social Participation, Catalina Pérez welcomed the participants to the National Encounter, who had the opportunity to meet different municipal facilities, as well as enjoy a boat ride By the Mar Menor, and visit Santiago de la Ribera.
Councilor Catalina Pérez was satisfied with the development of the Meeting that she described as "a success because the exchange that takes place in these days, of experiences, of concerns and of information allows us all to continue improving."
