José Miguel Luengo, who was accompanied by the Councilor for Public Safety, Teresa Foncuberta and the Councilor for Public Services, María Dolores Ruiz, said at the end of the meeting that "with the signing of this agreement materializes my commitment to the neighbors so that The City of the Air has a standard service of Local Police ".
Luengo informed that through the agreement, which comes into effect from its signature, the City of San Javier undertakes to control and monitor traffic in the streets of the City of Air and the removal of vehicles that hinder or hinder The circulation or entail a danger, as well as the instruction of attestations by accidents and crimes against road safety.
Likewise, the Local Police may carry out preventive measures and any actions tend to avoid the commission of criminal acts in the framework of collaboration established in the Security Boards.
The agreement signed today at the headquarters of INVIED in Madrid, establishes a period of validity of four years extendable or until the final transfer of the inner roads of the City of Air by INVIED to the City of San Javier.
The residential military colony is in the process of alienation by Defense, so once completed it will be integrated into municipal planning as another neighborhood.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo explained that the agreement signed today is in tune with those previously signed with AENA at the San Javier airport, as well as with the Hosptial Los Arcos, to offer local police service within its vials.
