The Professional Conservatory of Music of San Javier today presented its summer courses with a wide offer of up to 22 musical specialties among which it highlights as novelty a course of Initiation to the composition informed today the director of the Center, Francisco Javier Martinez, during the presentation Of the courses next to the councilor of Education Catalina Pérez and the musician Jesus Sivianes that will coordinate another of the novelties for this summer, the music therapy courses.
The music therapy that is first included in the Conservatory's offer will include three courses, one for musician-nurses for pregnant women, another for early care for children aged 0 to 3 years, and another for children 4 to 7 years of age.
The director of the Conservatory, Francisco Javier Martínez explained that all the instruments of an orchestra, as well as singing, are included in the offer of courses that will teach, from July 3 to 22, a total of 19 musicians and teachers of recognized prestige From different points in Spain and Germany.
The courses have an average duration of two or three days with morning and afternoon hours and will be taught in different venues such as the Conservatory and classrooms in the building of the Department of Youth, the Museum of San Javier and civic centers.
The courses are open to the public even to those who do not have specific musical knowledge that they can attend as initiators.
Along with summer courses, he will hold a masterclass in collaboration with the San Javier International Jazz Festival, which will be given by the Spanish blues guitarist Santi Campillo, a founding member and guitar player of M-Clan, who will perform at the Festival on July 22 together To American guitarist and singer Buddy Whitington, who will also attend the masterclass.
