The Faculty of Sports Sciences is hosting the 1st International Conference "Dance and the Sea", held from July 3 to 7, sponsored by the former director of the National Ballet of Spain and National Dance Prize, José Antonio Ruiz , Which inaugurated the Day along with Dean Arturo Diaz, the Councilor for Education of San Javier, Catalina Perez, and the rest of invited professors.
The Jornadas, organized by the University of Murcia, offer classes of classical dance, stylized dance and flamenco, in different levels, with invited artists and choreographers such as Anael Martin, from the National Dance Company;
Carlos Rodríguez, dancer co-founder of the Rojas and Rodríguez Company, and the choreographer and artistic director, Francis Núñez, as well as the dancer and choreographer José Antonio who offered a master class of Spanish dance.
The facilities of the Faculty welcome the tight program of these Days, which introduce dance in the Faculty of Sports Sciences, which aims to create in Dance Degree, with classes and workshops in the morning, and in the afternoon film projections About dance and debates, and nautical sports.
The conference closes next Friday July 7 at 16:30.
