Barnuevo esplanade will become the epicenter of the patron saint festivities of Santiago de la Ribera from Saturday 8 July when the festive program begins with the election and coronation of the Queen of the 2017 Festivities that will have as pregonero the dean of the Faculty Of Sports Sciences, Arturo Díaz.
The first festive weekend is completed with a night for the little ones, on Sunday 9 in which the queen is chosen and ladies checkers.

Another classic summer holiday in Santiago de la Ribera, the crowded summer carnival parade along the seafront on Saturday 5 August to end a large costume party on the esplanade Barnuevo.
