More than 1,300 children between the ages of 3 and 14 participate in the Summer Schools, and their variants of multi-sport camps, specialized sports campuses organized by the councils of Social Services and Sports of the City of San Javier, from June 26 to 31 of August.
The Councilor for Social Services and Sport, Estíbaliz Masegosa visited this morning the different schools "which have the dual objective of helping families to reconcile work and family life and provide children with a summer activity in which fun Education in values, and sports practice. "
The schools begin at 09h in the morning although all offer "morning time", so that the children can arrive at 08h, as well as the possibility of dining until 15h.
The Summer School that organizes Social Services, has 513 children enrolled and is held simultaneously in the CEIP "Our Lady of Loreto" in the City of Air;
"El Mirador" in El Mirador, and "El Recuerdo" in San Javier.
In the municipal sports center, more than 800 children are distributed every day among the multi-sport camps, and sports specialization campus of dance, sports gymnastics and tennis / paddle tennis, which are joined by campuses that promote sports clubs such as beach volleyball ;
Of Globality Sport Soccer Technology;
Mar Menor FC football campus;
Campus basketball MVP Basketball;
Basketball Chus Mateo Academy;
And skating.
Councilor Estíbaliz Masegosa accompanied the children from the multi-sport camps at the scheduled departure today to practice sailing at the Socaire Nautical School and visited the Summer School of the Department of Social Services at the CEIP "Our Lady of Loreto" Which this year has been called "Around the world in 45 days" dedicating each day to a country of the world with diverse activities and extensive program of workshops, explained María Reyes coordinator of the School.
