Jazz San Javier presents in La Manga Sammy Miller & The Congregation, traditional jazz innovators, and one of the revelation groups in the United States
The San Javier Jazz Festival moves to La Manga del Mar Menor where Samás Miller and the Congregation arrive at the port of Tomás Maestre, an American band whose avowed goal is to return generosity to jazz so that its audience can experience enrichment and The joy of music.
The drummer and singer Sammy Miller leads this young group that literally delivers on their mission to do what they call "joyful jazz", offering entertainment and musical rigor with their jazzy joy.
Grammy-nominated Sammy Miller formed his own group The Congregation after completing a master's degree at the Juilliard School, with young and talented musicians with whom he has achieved a sound and style of jazz, swing, blues and Other influences that integrate with great mastery in their concerts.
The members of The Congregation have worked with musicians of the likes of Wynton Marsalis, Joshua Redman, Iron and Wine, or Jason Mraz, in veteran settings such as the Lincoln Center or the Hollywood Bowl.
Jazz San Javier offers the first concert in Spain of this group revelation in the United States formed by Sammy Miller, singer and drummer, Sam Crittenden (trombone);
