The Aguila Acrobatic Patrol once again surprised another year on the day of the patron saint of Santiago de la Ribera with an air show in which the pilots, led by the San Jose-based commander Ruben Perez, once again brushed the impossible over the sky of the Mar Menor.

The exhibition, which counted for the first time with the first female pilot of the Patrol, Rosa María García-Malea, began with a first phase in which the seven planes maneuvered together until the break of the formation in which they separate to give way To a part of great dynamism with multiple figures like the looping in inverted that runs the Solo of the Patrol, the Murcia commander Francisco Marín, who is the only pilot in the world to realize it.

Cauldron Day

The day of Santiago has been celebrating Cauldron Day for four years, which has become one of the most awaited proposals of the holidays as demonstrated by the huge queue that was formed today in the esplanade Barnuevo to taste a portion of the typical dish of the Mar Menor .

The day began with the preparation in the traditional way of a real cauldron cooked in the sand of the beach Barnuevo with the help of a tripod of reeds, with firewood and an iron cauldron.
