The volunteers of the Bank of Time also develop their activity during the summer.

Last weekend they joined the regional campaign "Naturally Mar Menor" social awareness of the need to care for the Mar Menor from all possible areas, participating in a collection of waste on the beach on Saturday and Sunday with the Distribution of bookmarks with advice for the care of the Mar Menor from the point of view of the user.

The activity is part of the campaign that maintains a calendar of similar actions in other beaches of the Region whose main objective is to influence and raise awareness of the need for the involvement of all administrations and society in the full recovery of the Mar Menor And their protection, thanking and promoting the work of environmental volunteers.

The director general of the Mar Menor, Antonio Luengo thanked the 12 volunteers of the Time Bank of San Javier their involvement and their work with which they contribute to social awareness.
