Tomorrow, Wednesday, the third of August begins the cycle of cinema in the beach that will be celebrated every Thursday of the month, at 10pm.
On the Colón beach of Santiago de la Ribera within the regional campaign "MiMarMenor 3.33".
The first date will be special as the projection of Buster Keaton's classic, "El Maquinista de la General", in black and white, will feature the live music of the "Andrés Santos Band" Jazz Sextet, which will play the original soundtrack of the Film shot in 1926.
The titles, all of them family films, that will be screened on Thursdays for the next three weeks will be "The Goonies," "The Neverending Story," and "The Sickle Mage."
Councilor for Culture David Martínez highlighted the success of this same cycle in La Manga del Mar Menor where it was held during the month of July and invited neighbors and visitors to continue enjoying the beaches and culture on summer nights.
The cycle is free and only requires a mat, towel or chair since the projection is done on the same beach.
