The Department of Education has opened the deadline to apply for municipal aid in Education that can be submitted until October 19.
The summoned grants, for which a total of 53,000 euros will be allocated, are aimed at the students of 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education for books and teaching materials, as well as for those who study post-graduate studies outside the municipality.
With the same term have been summoned the extraordinary prizes of baccalaureate that will be granted to the four best academic records of the course 2016-2017.
The aid for books and teaching materials for students of 2nd cycle of Infant Education have a birth of 18,000 euros that will be distributed among all beneficiaries with a maximum aid per pupil of 60 euros.
For the granting of the aid, the maximum income thresholds established for these cases will be taken into account by national legislation, which in the case of a family of two members is fixed at 32,697, or 38,831 for three members.
The mobility aid for students who study post-compulsory outside the municipality, have a game of 33,000 euros that will be distributed according to a table of distances in kilometers.
The most common are for travel between 70 and 100 kilometers, as is the case of students studying in Murcia who will receive 250 euros per course, and 40 to 70 kilometers, for those who go to Cartagena with 200 euros.
Students who study in another province will receive 300 euros, and international travel, as is the case of erasmus a total of 350 euros.
The beneficiaries of these grants must be registered in the municipality for at least two years and must be enrolled at least 25 credits in the academic year.
The extraordinary prizes of high school, with which it is tried to recognize the effort, the excellence and the academic performance of the students of the municipality, have a game of 2,000 euros that will be distributed with endowments of 500 euros to the four best academic records, starting of a minimum of 8.75 on average in the baccalaureate and with the requirement that the proposed students have two years registered in the municipality and have studied in the HEIs "Ruiz de Alda" and "Mar Menor", or in the IES "Las Salinas", for residents in La Manga del Mar Menor.
Both applications for grants and proposals for extraordinary high school awards may be submitted until 19 October at the General Register of the City of San Javier or through the electronic register available at the City Hall's electronic headquarters: .sanjavier.es with electronic signature.
