The campaign "Soy Agricultor" launched by the San Javier City Council to spread what it means to be a farmer in the municipality and can already be seen in different public spaces of the same, has filled this morning the stand of the Region of Murcia in the Fruit Attraction Fair, held in Madrid, where it has been officially presented by the Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo accompanied by the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Francisco Jódar, and the Councilor for Agriculture of San Javier Sergio Martínez.
In an event attended by the director general of Water, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Francisco José González and the director general of Agricultural Funds and Rural Development, Carmen Maria Sandoval, and in which there have been many representatives of the numerous agricultural companies of the municipality present at the Fair, the Mayor of San Javier announced the advertising campaign "with the show we want to show the neighbors of the municipality and the rest of the world what it means for us a sector that stands out for its good practices, use of the most advanced technology, water saving and the creation of thousands of jobs ".
The campaign broadcasts in poster and video a transversal view of the farmer with messages such as "I am a nutritionist" for the healthy products he generates;
"I am a scientist" for constant research and use of technology ";" I am an ambassador "for having the name of the municipality through export to countries around the world, and others such as" I am an entrepreneur " of women in agriculture.
José Miguel Luengo, who visited all the local companies present in which he is one of the Fairs of the sector of Fruits and Vegetables more important of Europe next to the councilman of Agriculture Sergio Martínez, explained that the initiative continues with the work of diffusion that the City council of San Javier took last year to the Fruit Attraction with a spot on our agriculture to give to know an industry so evolved and important for the municipality ".
The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Francisco Jódar praised the campaign and congratulated the mayor on the initiative that publicly asked for permission "to copy and use it" as an image of the sector throughout the Region of Murcia for "originality and message with which the work of the farmer is being dignified ".
