The Bank of Time of San Javier has begun the course with a total of 49 workshops a week, eight more than last year, in which 420 people have been registered as informed today by Councilor of Volunteer Catalina Pérez visited with the coordinator of the Bank of Time, Natalia Conesa, a painting workshop, which like the rest began throughout this week.
The mayor Catalina Pérez highlighted the novelties that are incorporated this year to the group workshops that are held once a week until next June as the Nordic, health salary that goes from quarterly to weekly, billiards, and a room where is taught to read and write.
The extensive program of workshops, which are held from Monday to Saturday at different times of morning and afternoon, has also generated new workshops with more levels of languages ​​such as Russian, Italian, French and English that were offered last year, along with the German which is maintained at the basic level.
Physical activity, which includes bicycling, walking, taichi and different types and levels of yoga, or crafts such as painting in cloth, beads, embossing, sewing, varied work coexist with other more specific possibilities as introduction to philosophy, the world of the word and the expression, photography, how to use a computer, cinema, choir, or patchwork, among others.
In the wallet and with the inscription open is an embroidery workshop, workshop of false Tiffanys, and another one of authentic Tiffanys.
The coordinator of the Bank of Time Natalia Conesa highlighted the high participation of volunteers who are enrolled in these workshops, she recalled, are taught by volunteers who thanked her for their commitment throughout the course that ends in June 2018.
Conesa also pointed out the importance of the weekly workshops, whose assistants only pay with their time in the form of volunteering the classes received "so that we cover many needs that arise in the municipality as accompanying patients, buy the elderly, of books in the hospital, or trips to read at home to people with disabilities, among many other tasks.
The Councilor for Volunteer Catalina Pérez recalled that the only requirement to participate in the workshops is to be registered as a volunteer at the Bank of Time, so that those who are not yet invited to know and join the project.
