Primary school students from the municipality participated this morning in a marathon drawing that has been celebrated in the Plaza de España dedicated to "Don Juan Tenorio, Dream and reality in the cemetery of San Javier", the show to be performed on 28 October at 9 pm in the local cemetery starring the San Javier Theater Group.
Two perfectly dressed figures such as Don Juan and Doña Inés have posed on a stage while the students of various Primary Education courses of the "Sacred Heart" and "Our Lady of Loreto" schools spread their drawing utensils on the floor to reproduce to the protagonists of a story that they have previously told them summarized.
The three best works will have a prize consisting of a lot of drawing material.
Councilor for Culture David Martinez explained that the activity, which has been organized by the Department of Culture through the municipal library, "seeks to familiarize the younger with the most represented work of the Spanish theater that these days becomes a protagonist in our town through a unique and participative spectacle ", in which various choral formations, musicals, extras and artists from inside and outside the municipality take part, both the preamble that runs through the interior of the cemetery and in the theatrical performance that has place next to the cemetery.
