The young students of the San Javier Conservatory of Music who have just finished an Erasmus + program, promoted by the European Union, this morning told the students of the IES "Ruiz de Alda" the experience of conceiving and organizing one of these funded programs by the European Union that has allowed them to realize a musical exchange with students of a School of Music of Tortona, Italy.
The program, which they called "Erasmusic +", was an initiative of the center that have promoted the 17 students who have had the involvement of teachers, as well as the association of Parents of Mothers and with the collaboration of the City of San Javier through the Department of Youth.
The young people were accompanied by the Youth General Director, Fran Sánchez, the Youth Councilor, Estíbaliz Masegosa, the coordinator of the project, Professor Rafael Rocamora and the director of the Conservatory Francisco Javier Martínez, in this first exhibition of an experience dealing with to transmit the rest of the young people to publicize the operation of Erasmus + and to invite them to take advantage of the opportunity of European funding to carry them out.
Erasmusic + began in July with the reception of Italian students in San Javier and ended in September when the young students of the Conservatory of San Javier traveled to Italy to deepen an exchange that had the music as the protagonist.
The young people valued the experience as a great opportunity and conveyed their enthusiasm to the rest by inviting them to take an interest in and start up an Erasmus + program.
The director general of Juventud Fran Sánchez stressed the originality of this successful program and pointed out the usefulness of Erasmus + not only in the field of knowledge but also in promoting knowledge of other countries and ways of life as well as generating European awareness among our young people.
Participants in Erasmusic + will follow other centers bringing their experience to serve as a boost for other similar experiences that may arise in the municipality.
