Cierva cake, champion of local cuisine, will be the protagonist in the final stretch of San Javier's patron saint festivities tomorrow, Friday, December 8, when the world's largest "doe deer cake" will be presented, prepared by Valentín Sánchez de La Cierva confectioneries. a diameter of 1.2 meters.
At 11:30 am the inaugural cut of the cake will take place, from which will come about 1,000 rations for the free tasting, together with a beer will be served from 12: 00h in the Plaza de España, in San Javier.
The vocal music group "In Vivo" composed by three tenors and a baritone that fuses the lyrical and pop genres will put the sound to the macro tasting of one of the most typical dishes of the municipality.
The last official day of the patron saint festivities will be dismissed in the afternoon with the large parade of floats in which a total of 28 clubs will participate, 15 of them with floats, which will parade through the Spanish Aviation Avenue, from the roundabout of the Police barracks Local to the Plaza de España.
Once the party is over, he will move to the tent at the fairgrounds with the show "Let's Rock" by John "Wardi" Ward.
On Saturday December 9 will be the farewell of clubs with a giant paella in the fairground where the club "Dejando huella" has prepared the event "Closing Fiestas 2017 by Dejando Huella", with the participation of several Dj's of clubs in the area .
In the evening there will be the First Cante Flamenco Festival and Copla Patron Saint Festivities of San Javier, which is celebrated to benefit Aidemar at 10pm at the Parque Almansa Civic Center in San Javier.
