The Solo Padel group celebrates from today until December 17 the fifth edition of its Padel Solidarity Tournament "No child without a gift", "a tournament with a clear solidary goal whose goal is to ensure that no child is left without his toy this Christmas, "said the Councilor for Sports, Estibaliza Masegosa who presented the event with its organizers, Manolo Piñero, Pablo Machado and Angel Tolosa, at the City of San Javier
Manolo Piñero explained that the tournament, which emerged between a group of friends paddle players with the intention of organizing a charity action, serves to raise funds through registration and donations from businesses and businesses in the area.
The money collected is subsequently invested in the purchase of toys in a coordinated manner with the Municipal Social Services and Cáritas to try to cover the different age ranges of the children.
In addition, in order to maximize the donation, once the requirement that no child runs out of toys is met, the money goes to other needs through Caritas as happened last year among those affected by the floods, he recalled. Manolo Piñero thanked the collaboration of the City of San Javier and the companies that have donated money, as well as Villaescusa Sport, where the tournament is held.
