The cakes from Cierva, from San Javier, return one more year to Fitur where tomorrow, Thursday of the Region, you can taste part of the 1500 minipiezas of the typical cake that will also be offered to the public that visit the stand of the Region of Murcia on Friday 19 when the presentation of the municipality will take place.
San Javier will transfer a whole gastronomic experience to the public of Fitur that will complete with the tasting of an original white chocolate dessert that reproduces, thanks to a mold, the shape of a shrimp from the Mar Menor.
The Mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo will be in Fitur tomorrow, Thursday, Region Day and Friday when he will present together with the Councilors of Tourism, Antonio Martínez, and Culture, David Martínez the local offer based on active tourism, experiences and emotions.
After the gastronomic presentation, San Javier will take its commitment to cultural tourism with Jazz festivals, and Theater, Music and Dance along with other bets such as "Don Juan Tenorio Dream and reality in the cemetery of San Javier" .
The tourism of gastronomic and scenic emotions, will give way to active tourism and experiences that will promote water sports, such as sailing, diving, windsurfing, kite surfing or canoeing in the Mar Menor, as well as golf, together with the hiking routes and the ecotourism that it is tried to foment with new projects like the recovery of the encañizada, or the ornithological footpath in the North zone of the Sleeve of the Mar Menor, among other initiatives.
"The objective is to show our visitors the possibilities we offer as a destination so that you can organize your time and enrich your visit to our town with experiences," explained the mayor of Tourism, Antonio Martínez.
The councilman of Tourism, Antonio Martínez heads the presence of San Javier at the stand of the Region of Murcia in Fitur where he has a busy schedule of meetings with different agents of the sector.
San Javier has reissued the successful brochure of last year in the form of a travel bag where all the information of interest for the visitor is collected, complemented with posters and information on tourist events such as the Carnival celebrations of Santiago de la Ribera, and other events of local, regional, national and international character of tourist interest that welcomes the municipality throughout the year.
