The theater returns to the "Prince of Asturias" center, in Santiago de la Ribera, with the series "Theater Nights on the Mar Menor", which includes the Murcia productions, "3,000Km" and "A bunch of rogues", programmed by to the Department of Culture for the 9th of February and 9th of March, respectively.
The councilman of Culture, David Martinez presented today the "Noches de Teatro" series, accompanied by José Bote, director "3000Km", and Juan Montoro, author of "A bunch of rogues", "with which we want to continue promoting the theater in our municipality and particularly the theater that is made in the Region of Murcia ".
The performances will start at 9pm and the entrance price is 8 euros.
The director José Bote, who is born in Santiago de la Ribera, described "3000Km" as a collective creation tragicomedy with an interactive show format.
The work, in which the public is an important part, runs through the adventure of four women who pursue their dreams in a television contest in which they have to cover a 3000km circuit on the stage.
The work received the Azahar Prize for the Best Theater Show, Best Director and Best Actress and Actor protagonist in the I Performing Arts Awards of the Region of Murcia delivered in November 2016.
Juan Montoro, author of "A bunch of Rogues" recalled the premiere of the assembly a year ago at the Romea Theater in Murcia and described it as an ambitious project that pays tribute to the genuinely Spanish picaresque genre for which they have had he has masterpieces such as "El Lazarillo de Tormes", "El Buscón", "Rinconete y Cortadillo", "La Pícara Justina" and "El Gúzman de Alfarache".
