The largest of the municipal centers of Santiago de la Ribera, El Mirador and La Manga del Mar Menor today celebrated a day of coexistence to close the program "Seniors in positive" launched from the Social Services Center of the City of San Javier with The objective of promoting active aging.
Participants in the program began with a cultural outlet to the city of Murcia to end up in a convivial meal in El Mirador attended by Mayor José Miguel Luengo who congratulated them for joining this program which has benefited 95 people They have participated in all kinds of workshops such as the prevention of memory that has been the longest.
The closing day included the presentation of diplomas to the participants in this program that has stimulated the AFAL association, Association of relatives and friends of Alzheimer's patients and other pathologies of Cartagena and Comarca, addressing very diverse topics of interest for the group of people elderly, among whom were the prevention of memory loss, or the care of food and physical form.
