The Coworking Space of San Javier was closed today with the presentation of 18 of the 22 business projects in which during the last five months have worked a total of 24 entrepreneurs led by the School of Business Organization (EOI) and the Institute for Development of the Region of Murcia through the Go2Work program.
The "Eco" seal is found in several of the projects related to the food sector, such as a company specializing in 100% natural food additives, and fashion, with a brand that reduces the number of pieces of clothing needed in a closet and that makes fabrics organic in local workshops.
A real estate service specialized in the buyer, or a platform specialized in the search for industrial vehicles are other business projects, some of which are already underway.
Fernando Garrido, responsible in the area of ​​the School of Business Organization, highlighted the response obtained in San Javier where all the places offered were completed, since this project is usually carried out in large cities, as well as age, which in this case has raised with respect to other experiences "which shows that entrepreneurship has no age."
The participants, who have mostly addressed business ideas for self-employment, have worked in a coworking space in which they have shared resources over five months, with 150 hours of training and a mentor who has directed them to individualized way throughout that time in which they have been able to give business form to their initial business idea.
Of the 22 projects in which only three have been worked on, they have not managed to materialize as a viable company.
The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo who attended the final act of the project held at the Nautical Club of Santiago de la Ribera, congratulated the new entrepreneurs and stressed the importance of being able to access this type of opportunity in San Javier.
Luengo invited all entrepreneurs to get to know the Business Center, which will be presented soon, and which will be focused precisely on supporting business initiatives and fostering the culture of entrepreneurship.
The program Space Coworking San Javier has meant an investment of 200,000 euros of which the School of Industrial Organization has contributed 80 percent and the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia the remaining 20 percent.
The City Council of San Javier has collaborated in the development of the project through the Local Development Agency.
