José Tárraga, a resident of San Javier, was one of the first to provide material for the exhibition that the Association of Friends of Museums prepares for the mili in the AGA for next May at the Museum of San Javier, in collaboration with the City Hall of San Javier and the General Air Academy.
José Tárraga contributed all his memories of the mili in the AGA in the form of multiple photographs, including his own flag swearing in 1952, or the participation of the AGA soldiers in the victory parade of 1954.
His military booklet, and the mobilization sheet, with the small cover that was given to the soldiers to safeguard their military documents will also be part of the exhibition organized to mark the 75th anniversary of the AGA.
José Tárraga who also contributed photographs of his son's mili in the AGA, met with the councilman of Culture, David Martinez and the president of the Friends of Museums Association, Marcos Gracia in the City of San Javier, to make his loan to this exhibition that aims to project a part of the local history and the AGA through the disappeared mandatory military service.
José Enrique Martínez has been another neighbor who has not been slow in refreshing the memory and has already provided several documents and objects such as his soldier's cap, his grandfather's card "Anfeta", or the typical doll with the military attire of the AGA that the soldiers used to buy to take as a gift to their girlfriends.
The organizers continue with their appeal to all the neighbors of the region that made the mili in the facilities of the AGA to participate with their memories, either in the form of a photograph or any other representative object of that time.
