Mayor José Miguel Luengo delivered today, in the auditorium of the City of San Javier, the diplomas to the 11 students who have successfully completed the Employment and Training Mixed Program of "Dynamization of activities for children and youth in free time", that has been celebrated during the last twelve months in San Javier.
The students have combined the theoretical training for one year with paid internships through a training contract with the City of San Javier that has trained them to obtain a certificate of professionalism, which aims to improve their employability and facilitate their access to labor market, as the ultimate objective of this type of programs.
The students come from the unemployed lists of the Regional Employment and Training Service, SEF, which subsidizes the program and selects its potential students.
During the closing ceremony of the course, held in the assembly hall of the City of San Javier, the mayor congratulated the students and thanked them for their work "that was always beyond a mere job" collaborating with multiple activities and councils as throughout the year, such as summer school, school gardens, and all kinds of events and parties.
The last of the activities organized by the students before final closing the course will take place next Friday, March 16 in the Plaza de España, in San Javier under the title "Fiesta del Ritmo".
The appointment will begin at 5:30 pm open to the public, and will include a percussion number, from the Conservatory;
urban dances "Hip Hop with Dalam";
workshops and games and a globotada.
