The students of the Joaquín Carrión Valverde School of San Javier have already begun to celebrate World Water Day thanks to Hidrogea, which, in a fun way through experiments and interactive games, teaches the kids to make a sustainable use of the resource both in their homes like in the school.
Throughout the week, elementary students, assisted by specialized instructors, will learn the long path that water has to follow, from its source to their homes and from there to the treatment plants for their return to the natural environment.
They will carry out experiments with those who will treat water on a small scale, as an example of what is done every day in the water treatment plants and in the treatment plants managed by the company.
The motto of the World Water Day for this year is 'The answer lies in nature' because, taking care of ecosystems, we also take care of the essential water resources for our life.
With this program, in which more than 3,000 children participated in the past course, Hidrogea aims to raise awareness among schoolchildren about the importance of water, to teach them their urban cycle and, most importantly, the importance of respect for the environment.
