The City of San Javier has today offered its workers an information session on traffic accidents with the aim of increasing awareness of a type of work accident that has increased in recent years and that accounts for 11 percent of the total of work accidents in Spain, most of them occurring, up to 75 percent, on the way to or from work at home.
The Councilor for Prevention of Occupational Risks, María Dolores Ruiz highlighted at the beginning of the workshop, which Ibermutuamur technicians have taught at the Parque Almansa Civic Center, the convenience of this type of awareness to improve both driving safety and safety. First attention before a traffic accident.
Those attending the training session, which has been offered in two shifts, have been divided into groups that have been going through the three dynamics of the session.
One of them offered a bar virtual bar where they could take several types of alcoholic beverages, resulting in a blood alcohol level they have experienced through glasses that reproduced the different levels of the breathalyzer.
They have also driven in a simulator in which they have had to face several contingencies in driving and have attended the practical explanations of a nurse on how to deal with a traffic accident and how to react to help the injured at first.
The session, which was already held last year with success, has also served to gain knowledge on how to be at the wheel and other aspects to take into account in relation to the interior of the vehicle to prevent damage in the event of a traffic accident.
