The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, along with the rest of the members of the Murcian government, visited today the facilities of the General Air Academy (AGA) of San Javier, municipality that hosted the weekly meeting of the Governing Council.
After this meeting, the spokesperson for the Regional Executive, Noelia Arroyo, announced that today the procedure for the awarding of the different distinctions that will be delivered on the occasion of the Day of the Region, next June 9, begins.
Among them, the Tie of Honor of the Region of Murcia to the General Air Academy.
During this visit to the AGA, institution that is immersed in the commemorative events of its 75th anniversary, the members of the Murcian government were accompanied by the colonel director Miguel Ivorra.
The AGA already has the Community Gold Medal and is also in the process of being granted, and with very advanced procedures, that of the Civil Merit Order, in its Tie modality, granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in response to an express request from the regional government.
