Mistral beaches in La Manga and Castillo, in Santiago de la Ribera, both in the Mar Menor, have received the seal of quality "Q" by the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute, ICTE, as reported by the Councillor for Tourism and Beaches, Jesus Montesinos.
Jesus Montesinos said that it was "excellent news because it is the first time the municipality of San Javier asked this quality certificate and get it without a correct observation."
The granting of the "Q" Quality to the beaches and Castillico Mistral was approved by the Special Committee held in July that the agency responsible for granting.
The Councillor for Tourism recalled the "intense work during the past year to qualify for this distinctive both from the Department of Tourism and Beach as Public Services and Public Safety."
Next week's planned raising of flags on the two beaches distinguished with the "Q" for Quality, which means, among other things, a high security requirements, clean water, sand, and services in general.
