The Department of Environment closed its information campaign on the Posidonia ocean with three starts at the boat Else, the Southeastern Association of Naturalists, ANSE, in which 40 residents and visitors have come to know the differences between communities underwater del Mar Menor and Mediterranean, the island environment Grossa.
ANSE accompanied by technicians, participants were able to dip, dive, without bottle, in the two seas where they could see, first, the bottoms of sand and mud of Mar Menor, and on the other, the dense meadows of Posidonia the Mediterranean coast, to protect the funds and coastline from erosion and provide shelter for many species.
This activity is part of the information campaign on the Posidonia oceanica made by the Department of the Environment of the City of San Javier in the month of August with the help of ANSE.
The campaign, developed in different beaches of La Manga, was in training for adults and entertainment for children.
The Councillor for the Environment, José Luis Espinosa noted that these activities "promote closer to nature, they can discover hobbies like scuba diving, and all contribute to the understanding of such controversial issues as the management of oceanic Posidonia"
