The municipality of San Javier has joined the second consecutive year the European Week of Sustainable Mobility with a program of activities around the use of bicycles, to be held from 20 to 26 September.
Environment Councilman José Luis Espinosa and municipal technical, Jose Padilla had this morning the program that aims to "demonstrate that the change in transport habits also contribute to combating climate change," said the mayor.
Among the new features this year include the campaign "Bike" Addicted "through which they distribute gift vouchers to use in Decathlon between those who provide a ticket purchase at any store, a bike from day 20 and certificate of registration in San Javier.
Also there will be a bicycle repair shop and an education campaign road bike for children ages 5 and 6 primary school during the week in the Road Safety Park San Javier.
On Sunday 26 September will be held the second edition of "Bicitapeo" addressed to the whole family with an output in the sports bike from San Javier to Santiago de la Ribera which will take the ferry to La Manga.
Once there will be a tour that includes two bars that offer participants a drink and a cover for 2 euros.
At 14:30 the ferry will return to Santiago de la Ribera.

The week, which adds to Sustainable Mobility, Health and Safety, included in the municipal work program a talk on Sustainable Mobility and taught by technical Efficient Driving Green Homes Program, on Wednesday 22 at 18:30 in the lounge City Council acts.
The Plaza de San Javier Spain will host the evening of Saturday 25, a car rollover simulator, which reproduces the situation of a driver and his passengers in a rollover accident that involves or rollovers.
The program is completed with a course of conduct directed efficient cars to public officials.
