The European Biennial of Contemporary Art Is 8 to be held in Murcia on October 9 to January 9 will arrive at San Javier with the work of Salvi Vivancos, local artist selected for the parallel section Is 8, which present some of their work, "Al Buahayrat" in the tower of the San Javier library where you can visit until January 9, 2011.
Vivancos, photographer and coordinator of the festival of outdoor art "Imagine San Javier", organized by the Department of Youth of San Javier, has worked the relationship of Mar Menor with North Africa on its "Al-Buahayrat" that has given three different ways of distribution.
The first will be the project's artistic intervention that will be seen at different points in the region of the Mar Menor, and in Torre Pacheco, La Union, Cartagena, Murcia Caravaca de la Cruz and Lorca.

Salvi Vivancos is a photographer based in San Javier.
He has participated in over 70 exhibitions in recent years, such as the Conde Duque de Madrid Centro in 2006, Caixaforum Barcelona 2007 or newer in the Museum of Illustration and Modernity in Valencia and Murcia Párraga Center within the Critics Hall, both in 2009.
