San Javier has been the first municipality in the Region of Murcia to adapt its Local Security Board to the new rules issued by the Ministry of Interior, which regulates the safety meetings.
The regulation was published in the Official Gazette on September 21 amending, inter alia, the composition of the Board that this morning has been established under the chairmanship of the mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia, the Security council, Manuel Leal, the Chief of Police Local of San Javier, Matias Romero, the commanders of the Civil Guard station in San Javier, Cabo de Palos and San Pedro del Pinatar, the Chief of the Sanctions negotiated municipality of San Javier, and a secretary, a representative of the Government Delegation in Murcia and one from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
Among the first agreements of the new Local Security Board emphasizes the development of internal regulations and the preparation of the Local Safety Plan of the municipality.
At its meeting today the Board has taken cognizance of the situation in disciplinary proceedings since the last meeting.
The chief said the sanctions negotiated the opening of 143 disciplinary proceedings in public safety motivated mostly for possession or consumption of drugs and excess and recidivism in terms of opening hours of public facilities.
The Security council, Manuel Leal explained that the amendments to "improve the functioning of the Local Security Board, especially in the coordination and exchange of data between different security and police forces in the town that in this case Guardia Civil and Local Police and cooperation particularly in specific situations, optimizing resources on the same protocol performance. "
