As the Independent Panel made a public commitment to the neighbors that La Ribera, who spoke last Sunday on behalf of the Historical Heritage of the Municipality.
We have presented in the Register of the City Council a motion with the idea that is agreed by all political groups to configure the Corporation and submitted jointly by all in an extraordinary plenary and urgent in order to prevent the demolition of the fisheries Santiago de La Ribera, a symbol not only local but national and international as many foreign tourists who visit us.
Justify the motion in this building is a heritage building of unquestionable value in the landscape of La Ribera.
The buildings have been formed over 45 years the image of this tourist area, joining in the minds of their neighbors, the collective unconscious and therefore inevitably linked to its past and its present and future generations should be even a hallmark to differentiate ourselves from other coastal destinations.
The motion consists of three agreements based on Law 4 of March 16, 2007 Cultural Heritage of the Region of Murcia.
To proceed to the opening of the municipal administrative record that requires the Regional Entity for the inclusion of the building in the cultural and historic region of Murcia to its interest as a significant landmark ethnographic being very representative of culinary habits and customs of a unique such as the Mar Menor and a cultural landscape that defines the tourist value of Santiago de La Ribera.
