The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia signed this morning in the city two collaboration agreements with the association of Songs and Dances Mar Menor, San Javier, and the Parish of San Francisco Javier.
Pepa Garcia explained that it is an economic partnership by the City to "an association such as the Songs and Dances that meets 42, and with the parish for the upkeep and maintenance of the parish museum."
Antonio Avilés on behalf of the Chorus and Dance Group and the priest José León, and the parish museum's director, Jose Ballester appreciated the cooperation extended by the council to continue working and planning their activities in social and cultural life of the municipality.
These agreements are in addition to four others signed recently between the city and many other local associations "which shows the commitment of the municipality of San Javier, despite the times, for helping to keep our associations, and groups whose activity reverts the good of the municipality. "
The parish priest and vicar episcopal José León recalled that the municipal contribution by the parish museum can open to the public throughout the year.
Last year the museum received 18,000 visitors, of which almost half are focused on the holiday season.
Avilés thanked economic cooperation received, and used to also acknowledge the support received by the public at the San Javier Huertano Bando, held on the occasion of the festivities, as well as participating groups "that helped make it a success in first edition. "
