The Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera to be held from 5 to 13 March and has poster work of Julian Moya Jurado, Alicante, unveiled by the chairman of the carnival of Santiago de la Ribera, José Carrio, during the presentation of the winning poster contest in which 17 papers were presented.
The presentation, which also unveiled the program of activities for 2011 carnival was held in the auditorium of the hall and was attended by the Mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia after guaranteeing municipal financial support, expressed his hope that "this year's carnival in Santiago de la Ribera continue breaking records in every sense," assembled before the public number.
The chairman of the Carnival, José Carrio said as a new "recovery of the masquerade targets all over the municipality."
The program begins on Saturday March 5 with the gala of choice for Queen of Carnival, among the groups involved.
On Sunday March 6th from 18:30 h.
will celebrate the election of the Queen child with a party at the carnival tent to be installed on the esplanade Barnuevo and will welcome all acts of the program.
Shrove Tuesday, March 8, will be held the masquerade.
Not to miss the jokes with the event to be held on March 10.
The popular carnival March 12 maintains its awards: individual, couples and groups, and the grand parade of troupes held March 13 to award the best local carnival and the best among the outsiders.
