The devotion to the Christian martyr, a physician and bishop, who lived in the third century, and was beheaded during the Roman persecution of Christians has endured over time for centuries among the locals, fed by the powers conferred the legend to cure sore throats.
Formerly, the day of San Blas, it was lively, although the neighbors were coming to pray at the small chapel located on private property.
Over time the event with St. Blas, became popular until donations from the residents themselves is over building a separate chapel nearby.
