The parades commission calls upon all the groups both visitors and locals to sign up for the Parade this year
Despite the economic crisis and budget cutbacks this event, the parades commission pulled the boat out and wants to break a record for participation.
This 2011 edition is in line with the above, we present a very active and full carnival novelties.
The coastal carnival will feature the largest number of candidates for both infant and juvenile queen of carnival galas in the area, plus new features such as a masquerade ball and a parade that is expected to be the most participatory in all editions.
The organization wants to get unite on Sunday March 13 to more than 3,000 people marching, and for this it is necessary to involve all the groups who want to parade both the Region and the municipality.
That is why the commission calls on all groups interested in marching in one of the largest parades in the region, which also will be awarded to the best troupes in prize money and awards.
