The mayor of San Javier, Pepa García, Councillor for Equality, María Angeles Chum, president of the Association of Amas de Casa de San Javier, Francisca La Torre and the president of the Federation of Housewives Murcia, Juana Perez inaugurated yesterday the program of activities to be held in San Javier until 22 March to mark the Day for Women's Rights and World Peace.
Workshops, conference presentations, competitions, workshops and living tributes to outstanding women in the municipality included in the program organized by the Department of Equality and the Association of Amas de Casa de San Javier, in collaboration with other council departments such as Parks and Gardens Social Services, the Women's Association in April, and FSG.
