San Javier had its Grand Sports Festival this past weekend with two open days at the sports center where the audience of all ages could join the more than 27 activities including the commemorative program.
The various local clubs participated with introductory courses and exhibitions for each sport, as well as monitors and facilities that were to serve the residents during the open days which recorded a large number of people, and also included water sports in Santiago de la Ribera.
The program included the delivery of San Javier Travel Awards 2011, which this year were given to each and every one of sports clubs in the municipality to which the Mayor, who presided over the ceremony accompanied by the mayor of Sports, José Angel Noguera, thanked for their work in sport, beginning in San Javier.
With this act, which was held on Saturday May 7 at 20:00 in the hall of the municipality of San Javier, the Department of Sports wanted to extend to the thirty representatives from local clubs who came to receive his award Award for Best Work of Sports Management in 2010 which recently was awarded the General Directorate of Sport Patronato Deportivo Municipal de San Javier, as he said the councilman, Jose Angel Noguera.
