Among the activities scheduled throughout the year to celebrate the 175 anniversary of the creation of the municipality of San Javier after its separation from the municipality of Murcia in 1836, on Monday the School of Local Administration under the Ministry of the Presidency of the Community Autonomous Region held in San Javier Murcia Course "Standards of archival description."
The course taught by Ramón Martín Suquía meet all day Monday and Tuesday morning at 40 archivists from the different municipalities of Murcia and Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The course will start the mayor, Pepa García at 09:45 pm
includes a presentation by the municipal archivist and coordinator of the 175 Anniversary of the "Family Album" so successfully is developing and that will end the next publication of a photo album with dozens of old provided by the villagers themselves.
Also, the mayor of San Javier, Pepa García will present at 10:00 pm
in the press room at City Hall Dossier historical documents about the segregation that has been published in book form and in sheets with the reproduction of historical documents and aerial photographs of the old town.
The Dossier, a didactic purpose will be sent to all schools in the municipality.
At the same event the Mayor will announce the activities organized in San Javier on the occasion of International Museum Day.
