The Department of Environment launched the environmental brigade consisting of five persons with disabilities, San Javier, which contracted by the Department itself is dedicated to environmental cleanup of various natural areas of the municipality, during the months of April and May.
Promote respect and recovery of natural areas and rare in the municipality, and the integration of persons with disabilities is the goal of this initiative, which is repeated for the second year following the success of last year, said the mayor of Environment Jose Luis Espinosa.
Environmental brigade also allows selective cleaning, without heavy machinery in areas of difficult access.
Waste collection was performed manually with the utmost respect for the environment and environmental values ​​of the places where they acted as Playa de la Hita, Ensenada del Esparto, or banks of the Canal del Estacio, among many others.
