Alfar Murcia Theatre Group, directed by Paco Rubio, until his recent death, will stage three short pieces written by students in the playwriting course taught by the playwright, Juan Carlos Rubio, who was held at the International Festival 41 Dance Theatre of San Javier.
The three pieces "border crossing" by José Salguero, "Pura Sangre" Rodolfo Garcia, and "The crocodiles are to eat" by Pedro Lopez, were written from a story that appeared in the newspapers of the day chosen by each students of the course.
The three works together with those of other students were published in a book by the Festival and now completed their goal: to be represented on stage.
Alfar Theatre Group, with Paco Rubio head enthusiastically assumed the task with the staging of the three works that will last about fifteen minutes.
It will be an emotional night with Paco Rubio in memory.
His group decided to go ahead with the release after the loss of its director as the best tribute that we could provide.
Paco Rubio, was the creator of the Festival Theatre in San Javier in 1969 when he led the local amateur theater group, Oscar 69, which convinced her to start a Festival tonight, 44 years later, I remember especially, some of the components of that group who breathed Paco "poison" of the theater.
The performance begins with a prologue that Paco Rubio himself wrote which addresses the right of assembly, source texts and their significance.
Theatre Alfar delved into the essence of the texts, to give each representation of the creative spirit of their authors.
As they explain, to "Crocodiles are to eat" breathed voices and gestures, parade, parades, carnival music and kept shouting, arrogant and corrupt chant in contrast to the demure and quiet naturalism of "border crossing" scene in which actors show what happens to recite poetry so that suggests our human reality.
In "pure blood" refers to the transcendent language and the tendency of philosophy that invades us.
