Environment Councilwoman Celia Martinez, accompanied by photographer José Luis Villaescusa this morning inaugurated the exhibition "San Javier from another angle," about the environmental wealth of the municipality, in the Murcia-San Javier airport where you will see up to 15 September at the baggage claim area.
The exhibition organized by the Department of the Environment includes a total of 16 photographs that the author, José Luis Villaescusa makes a journey with his camera by the natural landscapes of the municipality, as the beach of La Hita Island Gros, weirs, Perdiguera islands and Baron, and the Mar Menor a whole, as well as the flora and fauna.
The Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez stressed the beauty of the photographs and the educational value they have.
Martinez said the timing of the new location of the exhibition "because it is the best way for our visitors know about our wonderful natural areas and keep that first impression on arrival."
The mayor thanked to the airport's director, Paul Lazarus, for hosting the show and give the exhibition spaces.
The exhibition contents of which are published in a book, set in the celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the municipality, and has traveled the municipal museum, the Dos Mares shopping mall and the hotel Mangalán La Manga's main objective is to show landscape and environmental wealth of the town, still unknown by many, and the need to all take care of it, said the photographer José Luis Villaescusa, who highlighted the island Grosa images obtained by the difficulty of access to natural space " more protected "in the municipality of San Javier.
