Pastor Juan Martinez Mayor and Council of Tourism and Wildlife Marcelo Antonio Martinez, and Sports, Carlos Albaladejo attended last weekend I J80 boats Open held with great success at the Club Nautico El Estacio, Thomas Port Maestre La Manga del Mar Menor.
The evidence gathered over 40 international vessels was sponsored by the Tourism Competitiveness Plan of La Manga del Mar Menor "Nautical Tourism", and was assisted by the municipality of San Javier which received a distinction given by the president of the Federation Sailing in the Region of Murcia during the trophy ceremony.
Carlos Martinez in front of the boat MAPFRE, Real Club Nautico de Santiago de la Ribera won a 5th place podium presided over by the boat "A fly in my soup" by Gustavo Martinez Doreste.
Both the mayor and the councilors Juan Martinez of Tourism and Sports, both highlighted the sporting value of this competition, with boats of 8.8 and 2.49 meters wide, and the importance of acquiring these types of events for the dissemination del Mar Menor and the race course and the momentum of nautical tourism in the municipality and the area in general.
