The Department of Agriculture reports on the implementation of ongoing maintenance and efficient management of drip irrigation systems to be taught at the Center for Agricultural Demonstration and Transfer (CDTA), located in El Mirador, the days 26,27,28,29 , 30, and October 3, from 16:00 to 21:00 h.
The course, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, through the Service Training and Technology Transfer, is targeted at professional farmers, and technical users or handlers and maintenance of systems irrigate their farms.
The course aims to equip users with the necessary knowledge to make proper use of drip irrigation and scheduled maintenance of the facility, early detection of faults and basic repairs, as well as established protocols for these facilities.
The course, highly practical, will be led by Ángel Luis Martínez Tortosa, agronomist, irrigation specialist and agricultural engineer Pedro Mínguez, head of CDTA El Mirador.
From the Department of Agriculture is encouraging farmers and users of drip irrigation systems in the municipality to take the course and expand its training in this area in order to improve the efficiency of irrigation such as common in our environment, both in the agriculture and in gardening.
