Social Service Center of the City of San Javier has launched an activity called "Workshop on care of the environment in the San Francisco and neighborhood Torres Blancas" which aims to promote the improvement of public areas of the district with the collaboration of residents themselves.
This initiative is part of new program whose purpose is to enhance social inclusion, coexistence and participation of citizens in the local environment.
The workshop is conducted by the collective Autopía collaboration with local volunteers who work with children from the neighborhoods Torres Blancas and San Francisco and their families, the main target of the project and past players of the changes and improvements that are intended to promote in public areas the neighborhood such as green areas, playground, benches, litter bins, sidewalks, or portals, among others.
Throughout the workshop which will last until next November and will work to provide tools to motivate their neighbors to take responsibility for their immediate environment from values ​​of awareness, respect, coexistence, participation and self-sufficiency.
