Mobility Week was sacked last weekend with an exhibition of sustainable vehicles that became an attraction for the public Sunday afternoon walking along the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera.
A sample attended three public companies approached their vehicles, electric two-seater cars, functional design, and electric motorcycles also.
The low consumption of both in the case of motorcycles is less than 1 euro, to recharge the battery at any outlet, and the car's power is 1 euro per 100 kilometers, acted as powerful arguments in favor of such vehicles are also quiet.
The Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez, who visited the show was interested in developing this type of vehicle which is subject to final deployment project to install electric chargers in municipalities that allow vehicles to take longer trips out of the urban areas.
To present this type of vehicle as an alternative sustainable transport and show that it is a reality, was the target of the council to include this initiative within the Mobility Week which has placed particular emphasis on means to promote transportation such as bicycles.
