Donelian Czech Alarcón 88, and Conesa English Consuelo 91 were elected yesterday with Grandpa and Grandma's Senior Prom, respectively, during the festival tribute to older people who each year gives the municipality of San Javier on the occasion of the fiestas.
Celebrations Councilwoman Gloria Cuenca, and the mayors of Commerce, Culture, Social Affairs and Education, who attended the event, were responsible for delivering some gifts to the two people who could prove, showing the DNI, to be the highest among more than 300 attendees, who enjoyed an afternoon tea party with dance, and performance of "Eugenia Songs" in the Almansa Park Civic Center in San Javier.
The event was attended by the juvenile court of honor, with the queen and ladies of the parties and the court of honor own Senior Center in San Javier which also elects the homecoming queen.
