A total of 1,345 athletes will participate in the Handball Championship Spain 2012 Kids and Cadet for regional selections to be held from 2 to 7 next January in San Javier, Los Alcazares and San Javier.
All autonomous communities except the autonomous city of Ceuta, will participate in this championship with a total of 72 teams in the four categories, which will have to play to 56 games on the first day of competition.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez served as host during the presentation of the Championship that took place this morning in the municipality of San Javier with the assistance of the Director General of Sports, Antonio Penalver, the head of the Sports Promotion Sports Council, Juan Manuel Hueli, a representative of the regional federations and national handball, Juan Francisco Cutillas, the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida and the First Deputy Mayor of San Javier, Antonio Garcia.
A total of 280 games played will be distributed simultaneously in 9 sports halls, 5 of them in San Javier, 2 in San Javier and 2 in Los Alcazares.
San Javier Mayor announced that the new flag of El Mirador will be released more precisely as a Championship venue.
