The Department of Environment held last weekend workshop Christmas decorations from recycled materials which became a hit with kids.
The children were able to discover how paper or cardboard from household products could result in an original Christmas tree, as some oven mitts were reconverted into comics, or how they could make hanging ornaments for the tree house with lots of small everyday objects.
Educate children about recycling with a fun activity and practical is the goal of this workshop has been scheduled after another successful and recent workshop where children could make their own toys from recycled materials.
Specialized monitors "Green Dwarf" and staff of the Department of Environment attended the children, mostly young children, who came to the Plaza de San Javier Maestre, where they were working and having fun all morning.
